We thought it may be nice to re-introduce some of the familiar faces here at Fay Pedler clinic and welcome the new ones to you also!

Today we catch up with Practice Manager Shula.

What is your background?

I grew up in Totnes, where I lived for 30 years until moving to mid Wales to run a shop with Post office and B&B. I later returned to Devon to raise my daughter.

What areas have you previously worked in?

I have worked in the NHS as a qualified dental nurse for 15 years straight from school and then a postmistress.  I have been part of the Fay Pedler team for seven years.

What is your role at Fay Pedler clinic?

I am the Practice Manager responsible for the day-to-day running of the clinic, blogging and ensuring Ricky has plenty of coffee and biscuits!

What are you most proud of?

Obviously I would have to say my daughter.

What’s the best thing about being part of the Fay Pedler team?

It’s a great place to work, I can honestly say I never dread Monday morning, although it pushes me out of my comfort zone.  The team are very supportive and we have a happy working environment.

If you weren’t a member of the Fay Pedler Team what would you be?

Oh I really don’t know, I would probably still be dental nursing.

More importantly….

If you could share a bottle of something with any 3 people in the world, who would they be?

Mmm that’s tricky – I would probably say Des O’Connor, Kevin James and Tyler Joseph.

What is your favourite song(s)?

Phil Collins – Against all odds

Where in the world is top of your list to visit?

There are several but I would love to go to Canada and visit a working ranch.

What is the one thing that may surprise people about you?

Nothing, I am pretty much an open book!!!
