We thought it may be nice to re-introduce some of the familiar faces here at Fay Pedler clinic and welcome the new ones to you also!
Today we catch up with Bernice who provides hands on Physiotherapy at the clinic on a Tuesday, the remainder of her week involves rehabilitating post-operative knees and hips for Practice plus!
What is your background?
I qualified in Physiotherapy in 2011 from Plymouth University.
Previous to this I completed Environmental Science degree in 2004 from University of West of England, Bristol.
What areas have you previously worked in?
After I qualified as a Physiotherapist I worked at University Hospitals Plymouth Derriford Hospital in a range of areas for six years. I now work part-time at Practice Plus Group which is an Orthopaedic specialist hospital.
What is your role at Fay Pedler clinic?
Musculoskeletal Physio. I have particular interest in Pilates.
What are you most proud of?
Completing the Plymouth Breakwater Swim in 2018 – just!
Returning to Uni as a slightly older student
What’s the best thing about being part of the Fay Pedler team?
Working alongside the team and treating a wide variety of conditions.
