Rachel Fitzgerald BSc(Hons) MCSP, HCPC, AACP

Rachel qualified from Manchester Metropolitan University in 2011. She has been working at University Hospital Plymouth NHS Trust since 2012 having completed a ski season between university and work. Rachel completed her core rotations gaining a solid foundation in all aspects of physiotherapy and now works full time as a senior musculoskeletal physiotherapist with an interest in lower limb rehabilitation. She has completed a variety of rotations giving her skills to assess and treat a host of MSK presentations.
Rachel’s postgraduate courses include; strength and conditioning, Acupuncture, chronic pain, taping, shoulder dysfunction and ACL rehabilitation along with podcasts to keep abreast of current evidence-based treatment.
Outside of work, Rachel is a member of the Cattewater Gig Club and you’ll regularly see her rowing in the sound, competes in triathlons and loves skiing; needless to say she loves being busy and enjoys treating sports-related injuries and return to sport rehabilitation.
