We thought it may be nice to re-introduce some of the familiar faces here at Fay Pedler clinic and welcome the new ones to you also! Today we meet receptionist Nicky.

What is your background?

All sorts – I’ve worked in a factory, in the construction industry, for the NHS and for myself.

What areas have you previously worked in?

As above.

What is your role at Fay Pedler clinic?

I’m part of the reception team.

What are you most proud of?

Building up my jewellery making business and being accepted as a maker into the National Trust gallery at Cotehele House.

What’s the best thing about being part of the Fay Pedler team?

When I’m making jewellery I’m pretty much a lone worker, so at Fay Pedler, I enjoy being part of a team and interacting with patients and staff.

If you weren’t a member of the Fay Pedler Team what would you be?

Jewellery making full-time (realistic) or a photographer for the National Geographic (a younger me).

Jinja, Uganda – It’s where I was born.

What is the one thing that may surprise people about you?

I have a very large collection of hammers!
